In case of an unplanned event, emergency or crisis situation, each client will be able to have one missed appointment with no fee.

  • 24 Hour Late Cancellation Fee – If a session is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, then the fee will be the full fee cost of the scheduled session. Please try not to wait until the last minute if you need to cancel, so that I will be able to allocate the session time for other clients as needed. Payment Policies

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Supervised by Laura Wright, LPC-S, I am not able to accept third party reimbursement due to mandates by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. Consequently, I cannot accept insurance, HSA cards, or alternate third-party reimbursement. I am not eligible to file out of network claims to insurance companies, nor will you be able to be reimbursed for an “Out of Network” provider if you file the claim yourself.

I only accept private pay, also known as “self-pay” or “out of pocket” payment. If there are concerns about scheduling, fees, billing, money and/or time related issues, feel free to discuss this while reaching out, in your free consultation, later on if you experience any life changes, or if you want to discuss alternate therapy schedules, or if you want/need a referral for other services.

*Payment is due before the appointment time of the session. If you arrive late for your session, I cannot extend the time of the session as there are other sessions scheduled after yours. If for any reason I am late to the session due to miscellaneous circumstances, I will allot the scheduled time to the end of the session, if agreed upon and feasible, or will add the scheduled minutes to a session in the future.

*I don't provide couples or family counseling sessions.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive the GFE for the total expected cost of any emergency items or services. You are entitled to a GFE within 1 business day before your medical service is provided. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your GFE, you may dispute the bill. What is a Cycle Breaker?

A cycle breaker is often a common term used to mean a person who recognizes harmful traits, behaviors, thinking styles, patterns, characteristics, ways of relating, and/or abusive dynamics in their family system, community, religious circles/church, or other groups, that they do not want to be a part of nor continue.

This often involves sometimes having to distance oneself, and/or one's family, from different environments or relationships due to the harmful patterns and dynamics.

Many people often have feelings of guilt, shame, isolation, grief, loss, and a range of many emotions. It is common for individuals to question many beliefs and perspectives, regarding what they may have previously ignored, tolerated, "normalized", or "pathologized".

Many people may struggle with parts of their identities, self-esteem, past experiences, internalized abuse, and negative beliefs about the world, self and others.

Cycle breakers often are seeking to work on healing while understanding their past and present.

Many cycle breakers are also trying to figure out their authentic values, what they consider to be "healthy", and how to move forward.
